- I draw my inspiration, interest and passion for painting from the sea and coastline, in particular the south coast of England and Cornwall, also the countryside of Lancashire. My paintings are inspired by sketches and memories of places visited. There is a visual element of sea and boats, shapes, blend of colour and naive images or an interesting contrast or composition that catches my eye.
